I seem to be drawn to things primitive, complex, ambiguous, paradoxical and enigmatic. Abstraction for me is the best way of expressing such things, whether they are internal states of mind––moods, feelings, thoughts, dreams––or external entities, like rhythmic movement and music. The obvious in life has never appealed to me, so I always find myself involved with an art of things unseen, elusive, as yet undisclosed, difficult to grasp.
All my pieces are cut from quarter-inch plywood and painted in acrylic paint.
